RAWALPINDI: The Corps Commanders Conference, chaired by COAS General Kiyani, concluded at the GHQ in Rawalpindi on Friday, DawnNews reported.
During the conference it was stated that the transition to civilian rule has begun in Shangla and Buner.
The conference was part of regular monthly meetings.
The forum was given comprehensive briefings on internal and external security challenges Pakistan is facing.
The participants discussed various professional matters at length and resolved that peace will be brought to all regions in Pakistan affected by extremisim and terrorism.
