MQM expresses concern over power tariff hike

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members of the national assembly (MNAs) expressed concern over the approval of increase in power tariff by Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) on Saturday.

In a statement issued by MQM here on Saturday, the MNAs said that the people are already suffering due to inflation and the increase in power tariff would just add to their misery.

The MQM took notice of the increase in power tariff by 53 paisas per unit and said efforts will be made to bring relief to the people.
